A little of the old and the new.
Some of these photos are from last spring/summer, some from this season.

This beauty came up again this year :) |

I had a love affair with this one tulip in my yard...

Very rarely do I continue to love the same photos over time...typically I become less and less impressed with them as the months go by. This photo is one of those rare exceptions where I quite possibly love it more the more I see it. |

Anyone who knows me knows I'm a sucker for sunflowers.
Last year there were none on our annual Colorado trip but at least the ones I planted got big and beautiful. |

THIS YEAR:

f/3.2, 1/1250th, ISO-100, 28mm
New wide-angle lens in action! |
|
f/4, 1/2000th, ISO-100, 70mm |
|
f/4, 1/160th, ISO-100, 70mm
Clearly I've been getting a little heavy-handed with Lightroom BUT I DON'T CARE IT'S FUN |

f/3.5, 1/2000th, ISO-100, 28mm
I can't decide whether I should've cropped out the blurry fence lines or not. I like framing. |
|
f/3.5, 1/400th, ISO-800, 18mm
I need one of these in my front yard. Or backyard. I'm not picky. |

|
f/2.8, 1/160th, ISO-100, 50mm
Doesn't quite look as good as last year's inner tulip shots

I have NO IDEA what I'm doing in next week's post but I imagine there will be more people than flowers. Maybe.
