30 and Flirty and Fun (or that time we played with dry ice)

Someone very special just turned 30 and was very happy about it.
Actually, the someone who turned 30 and the someone who was very happy about it were two different people.
As the very happy person, I took the time to decorate the house in 30th birthday paraphernalia (as opposed to "over the hill" decorations, which were contemplated), bake the birthday boy's favorite cake, from scratch (chocolate chip angel food cake), and buy him a treat to bring him back to his 5th and most favorite birthday ever - dry ice. Surprisingly, the dry ice really was interesting to take pictures of, at least more so than the decorations and cake. Have no fear, I took pictures of ALL the things, because that's what I like to do!

The less mean but just as festive 30th birthday decorations, aka cat tease toys

Ender got over his fear of everything to get in the dry ice and wander around

No birthday is complete without a little birthday cake
This picture could've been so much better if I'd illuminated the sign with the flash
The most interesting thing I discovered was that my camera was thoroughly confused by the fog and had the hardest time focusing. I mostly had to use manual focus (which is why Ender in the second picture of him isn't as crisp and clear as he should be).
Happy birthday J! :-)
