Photos of the Day! July Edition

In an effort to think up new and interesting photos even when trapped in the condo, I've been experimenting with some of my lesser used camera features. There are a lot of different specialty settings to choose from, and while some don't have a wide variety of uses, I'm still enjoying the interesting effects.

f/6.3, 1/8th, ISO-1600, 40mm
f/5.6, 1/125th, ISO-100, 35mm
high density black and white mode

f/5.6, 1/40th, ISO-1600, +3 exposure, 35mm
I'm a fan of kitten paws

f/4.5, 1/20th, ISO-400, 26mm
using "toy camera" feature after reading about the Holga plastic camera for a similar effect

f/5.6, 1/13th, ISO-1600, 45mm
used a "soft" setting on the camera that I tend to think just makes pictures look blurry. Still, loved playing around with "Ender in the mirror"
f/4, 1/50th, ISO-100, 22mm
Using another special feature on the camera called black and white posterization

Headed to St. John tomorrow with camera in tow!
